Lt. Brewer and Sgt. Fogle with the Nicholasville Police Department participated in a three week leadership training course provided by the Department of Criminal Justice Training in Richmond, KY that is called Academy of Police Supervision . Lt. Brewer and Sgt. Fogle learned the necessary skills required to lead officers on the patrol division, to enhance community relations, and the fundamentals of servant leadership. As well as participating in extensive classroom setting, participants had the opportunity to experience the physical challenges of an obstacle course while drawing parallels between overcoming physical challenges and tough leadership situations.
