NPD Participates in Wilmore's Salute to Service 3-day Event

The City of Wilmore recently hosted a 3 day Salute to Service event at the Thomson-Hood Veterans Center to honor the service and sacrifice of military veterans. 250 veterans were recognized and honored during the festivities.
NPD had the privilege to assist in escorting the travelling Vietnam Wall memorial, the Cost of Freedom Memorial, and the Global War on Terror Memorial from Southland Christian Church, through Downtown Nicholasville, and on to Thomson-Hood Veterans Center.
NPD also provided the honor guard as part of the first responders' recognition ceremony. And the famous Copsicle was on hand giving out free frozen treats to community members!
