PATROL DIVISION

The Patrol Division is the Nicholasville Police Department’s direct-service provider to our community. Whether it’s a minor occurrence or a major incident, patrol’s mission is to provide prompt, courteous service and protection to the citizens of Nicholasville 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Officers assigned to the Patrol division work a 12 hour shift schedule. Day Shift runs 6am to 6pm and Night Shift runs 6pm to 6am. This schedule allows our officers every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off and gives them time off to rest, reset, and decompress.
